Here are some overall tips and hints:

  • Have a valid passport for at least 6 months at the time of travel.

  • Should you need a Visa / Travel Authorization, have your passport valid for at least 2 or more years to get the most out of your Visa / Travel Authorization.

  • Be sure to check out our Check List Templates for things to pack and things you should never forget.

  • Take a picture of your documents before travel (in case of loss or theft).

  • Take a video of your luggage from all side when checking it at the airport (in case of loss or damage)

  • Be sure you printed your itinerary (no need to use Data Roaming or WIFI)

  • Have your travel adapters ready for the relevant country.

  • Bring your own medication or mini First Aid kit. Prescription drugs required a doctor's certificate.

  • Cash is not always King - be sure you have a credit card that you can use safely in another country and be sure to let your bank know about your travel plans.

  • Check the rates with your phone provider and if you should get an additional SIM card to use your phone abroad on cheaper rates.
