Frequently Asked Questions

Q:     What fees to do I pay?
A:     Depending on your travel requirements (e.g. you do not pay the Planning & Research fee for already selective package deals, or you do not pay the Air Only fee when Air fare is included...)

Q:     Is it cheaper to book with a travel agent or on your own?
A:     It's often the same price or even cheaper to use a travel agent because their commissions are built into the vendor's pricing. They can access deals, exclusive rates (especially for complex trips like cruises or honeymoons), and save you time and stress by handling problems, making them potentially cheaper overall by saving money and hassle. Agents can offer significant value for complex itineraries, emergencies, and personalized service, making them a better choice for complicated or "once-in-a-lifetime" vacations.

Q:   Do you actually save money with a travel agent?
A:    Travel agents aren't for everyone. But for complex trips, cruises and Disney vacations, they can save you hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars through exclusive rates and expert navigation of overwhelming booking systems.

Q:    What are the cons of a travel agent?
A:     Disadvantages of using a travel agent include potential extra costs (fees), communication can be slower, you can miss out on personal loyalty rewards/points.

Q:     Should I use a travel agent to book an all-inclusive?
A:     Yes, you should strongly consider using a travel agent (or advisor) for an all-inclusive trip because they often save you time and stress, provide insider knowledge for better value, can secure upgrades or perks, offer support for issues, and generally cost you the same as booking online. While booking direct might seem cheaper, agents access exclusive deals.

Q:     Do you charge cancellation or booking fees?
A:     It is common for Agents to charge fees, and not all fees apply to your booking, e.g. late changes, cancellations, or initial consultations, flight only, amin fee. Planning & Research are also common, as the Agents spends valuable time to get your trip itinerary just right for you.

Q:     What is the best time of the year to travel?
A:     Depending on your destination, what you want to get out of your trip, your agent can help and get you this information (e.g. avoid school holidays when traveling around Europe, as prices are higher and more people will travel)
